Collins Pediatrics knows that when your child is sick, you want him/her to be seen or you want to consult a doctor or nurse before bringing your child into the office. Our practice is committed to seeing all sick patients the same day we are called or first thing in the morning if symptoms present themselves during the evening. We are also committed to returning all calls in a timely manner, in most cases within 30 minutes to an hour from the time the call is received.
Our entire office is committed to educating our parents so they can be informed and equipped to ensure the health and safety of their children. We provide resources, information, and access during office visits and phone inquiries, so that you can feel confident in making appropriate decisions. All efforts will be made to accommodate sick children within 24 hours when appropriate. Advice will be available from one of our skilled office staff during office hours, and patients have access to emergent or urgent physician advice after hours, as needed through our call service at 504.832.8022.
